Every set comes with four 10cm x 10cm slate coasters, each with a highly detailed illustration of ammonite fossils etched into the stone for a truly unique effect.
Ammonites first appeared about 240 million years ago, they were squid like creatures that lived inside coil-shaped shells. Similar to other cephalopods, ammonites had long tentacles that would extend to snare and pull prey into their powerful beaklike jaws. The coaster itself is made from natural slate and is not only stylish but also great for protecting your surfaces from hot and cold drinks. Highly durable with a high grade finish, each coaster also has a set of four padded, anti-slip feet on the underside. Each coaster is approximately 10cm x 10cm Square and 1cm thick and as they are natural materials, be aware the thickness may vary slightly from coaster to coaster.

The Stegosaurus is a large herbivore from the late Jurassic period around 150 million years ago. They are widely recognised for the large plates along their backs and spiked tails. An adult Stegosaurus was around the same size as a double-decker bus.

The Velociraptor is a feathered dinosaur with a long tail and an enlarged sickle-shaped claw on each hind foot. Velociraptor was only around 0.5m (1.6 ft.) tall, similar to a modern day turkey. The name Velociraptor means 'swift seizer'.

An iconic three horned dinosaur from the Cretaceous period around 65 million years ago. The name triceratops literally means 'three-horned face'.
Tyrannosaurus Rex:
One of the most iconic carnivores of the cretaceous period around 66 million years ago. Known for its huge jaws, it is estimated to have given the strongest bite force among all terrestrial animals.
